Rogatio
Interactive presentations: live polls, questions, quizzes and forms for your audience.
Rogatio is a fork of Claper, built with Elixir, Phoenix and LiveView. On top of Claper it adds:
- HTML web decks. Present reveal.js or class-based HTML decks from a read-only folder, with slides kept in sync between the deck, the manage view, the projector and attendees. Third-party poll embeds such as Mentimeter are replaced on screen by the live Rogatio poll, without changing the deck files.
- Speaker view. Current and next slide, notes, timer and clock, live poll and audience questions, each panel shown or hidden as you prefer.
Running locally
-
Copy
.env.sampleto.envand setSECRET_KEY_BASE(mix phx.gen.secret). -
To present HTML decks, set
WEB_DECKS_DIR=/decksandWEB_DECKS_HOST_DIRto the folder holding your decks. -
Start it with Docker:
docker compose -f compose.dev.yml up -d -
Open http://localhost:4000. The first start creates an admin account,
admin@rogatio.local, with a random password printed once in the logs. SetADMIN_EMAILandADMIN_PASSWORDto choose them instead.
Stop the app before switching git branches; the live code reloader otherwise compiles a mix of old and new files.
Documentation
Claper's documentation still applies to everything Rogatio inherits: docs.claper.co. Project conventions for contributors and coding agents are in AGENTS.md.
Licence
Rogatio, like Claper, is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0; see LICENSE.txt. If you run a modified version for other people over a network, the AGPL requires you to offer them its source code.
