Managerial Economics
Teaching materials by Boğaçhan Çelen. The root index.html is the public entry
point; the current course is under course/. Isocline is the related applet
library, maintained in the sibling isocline repository. Coding agents should
start with AGENTS.md.

Edit the source, then rebuild and include the resulting course/ changes with
the source change. Do not maintain generated pages separately.
node course-src/build.mjs
node course-src/check-site.mjs
The checks verify the entry page's local links, compare every generated file
against a fresh temporary build, and verify the pinned engine and licence.
node course-src/build.mjs --check checks generated output without changing it.
Publication policy
Keep course/ tracked. The current site is a static publication; no server-side
course build configuration is checked into this repository. A push to main
currently publishes the committed files through an external hook, but the hook
does not rebuild the course. Removing generated files would therefore change the
deployment contract. Revisit this only after the server is explicitly configured
and tested to build before publishing.
Copied audio, images and fonts in course/assets/ are intentional publication
assets. Identical copies share Git blob storage, although they occupy separate
working-tree paths. PDFs, scratch work, local outputs and dependencies stay
ignored. See Build and publication policy.
Applets and visual identity
The applet engine is pinned locally. Update it explicitly from its source:
node course-src/update-engine.mjs ../isocline
node course-src/build.mjs
node course-src/check-site.mjs
See the course source guide for engine provenance.
Clear is the current palette. The course retains the Managerial Economics
identity; Isocline identifies the applet library. The live visual guide
and design specification describe the relationship.
Isocline masters live in ../isocline/brand/; the small vendored subset in
course-src/assets/isocline/ records its checksums in provenance.json.
The applet software derives from KineticGraphs / kgjs by Chris Makler.
Its full MIT licence and original copyright notice accompany both engine copies
as isocline-LICENSE.txt and are embedded in the engine bundle. This software
licence does not relicense the course's teaching content.
